We strive to actively participate in
addressing issues like global warming, violations of human and employee
rights, extinction of animal and plant species, overconsumption of
natural resources and poverty. In other words, we aim to become
sustainable. It's easily said, but the truth is that the challenges are
immense, and we still have a long way to go before we can call ourselves
sustainable.
That's why we like
saying that we have embarked on a mission we will never complete.
Sushi Stainable means that we'll do our utmost to act correctly within our own walls and then encourage others to join us on the journey. Basically we have launched an initiative in which we strive to make our own contribution to creating a more sustainable present and future, through our actions as well as our ideas.

Sticks'n'Sushi is a medium-sized business
comprised of eight restaurants, an administrative department and a
central kitchen. Globally speaking, our presence does not affect the big
picture. That being said, our actions do have an effect on the world,
and it's our responsibility to do something about this. Only then do we
have the right to express our opinions. In other words, it takes action
to support your opinion.
Thus, focusing exclusively on improving our own methods will by no means fulfill our potential to make a difference. Instead, getting our house in order should be considered a necessary solid foundation. The key factor is that every day we have the privilege of face-to-face interaction with our guests, which gives us a unique opportunity to share our experiences, communicate our opinions, inspire people and learn more about the society we belong to. We view this face-to-face interaction as our greatest opportunity to contribute to creating a more sustainable present and future. That's the essence of Sushi Stainable.
