We would like to use this space to explain some of the pitfalls and dilemmas, we have encountered in our work with sustainability at Sticks'n'Sushi.
There is no doubt that sustainability is a demanding ambition. There are no easy shortcuts to achieving sustainability. To pretend that there are - and thus color ourselves green - is to cheat the environment and our fellow human beings, today and in the future.
In the menubar to the left, we discuss issues regarding packaging, CO2 neutrality, ecology and food scarcity that we have been struggling with. In addressing these concerns, we have come to realise that there are no easy solutions. In other words, becoming a sustainability heavy-weight is no easy task - what we have tried to explain here in the left side menu.
